Dr. Priyanka completed her MBBS and MS in General Surgery from Karnataka Medical College and Research Institute, followed by an MCh in Endocrine Surgery from Christian Medical College, Vellore, where she was awarded the University Gold Medal.
Dr. Priyanka has served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Breast and Endocrine Surgery at CMC Vellore for 2.5 years and is currently a Consultant Breast and Endocrine Surgeon at Silverline Hospital, Kochi.
Dr. Priyanka actively conducts research and shares her findings at national and international medical conferences.
She has presented research at International Surgical Week 2024 in Kuala Lumpur and delivered a paper at the 50th World Congress of the International Society of Surgery in August 2024. She has been an invited speaker at forums including Thyroid and Parathyroid Update 2025, Kozhikode, IMA Kochi 2024, and Endocrinology Updates CME by Silverline Hospital, 2024.
She also contributed to the CME session “The Utility of ICG for the Identification and Assessment of Parathyroid Gland Viability During Thyroidectomy” at Updates in Surgery 2021.
Dr. Priyanka has contributed to publications including “Collagenous Fibroma Mimicking a Retrosternal Goiter: A Case Report” (IJESR), “Nipple Adenoma: A Clinicopathological Study Over Six Years in a Tertiary Care Center” (Indian J Pathol Microbiol, 2025), and “Case Report of Rare Hereditary Endocrine Cancer Syndrome: Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Type 2B” (IJESR). She is also actively involved in ongoing research projects in breast and endocrine surgery.
Dr. Priyanka is committed to promoting breast cancer awareness and early detection. In 2024, she led the Breast Cancer Awareness Camp in Kochi, organized by Silverline Hospital, helping women through education and early screening.
