Best Hospital in Kerala for Diabetes Care

November 1st 2022 - A sleepless night trying to finalise paper work before I made the trip to Auckland international airport. I had a plan but that went out the window and I was now faced with doing this trip by myself. The mindset had to change instantly because I needed all my strength to just get on that plane and get on with it and focus for my impending recovery at the other end. I got on that plane by myself and flew to India, where I was meet by staff of the hospital where I under went surgery to have a gastric sleeve. I weighed 145.5kgs at my heaviest. I had high bloody pressure and a very unhealthy life style. My body wanted to be active and moving, but I was so heavy and lazy. Some may say a gastric sleeve is the "easy" way out. But I tell you now it is was no easy task. You need to have a strong mind set with lots of determination. I had to learn how to eat for my new stomach and how to get the nutrients in that I needed without causing myself to be sick. You learn what foods work for you and which foods don't and still to this day I am learning the ins and outs of what works and doesn't. I am now living the life my body has always wanted too. I'm active and healthy. I'm at the gym and loving it. I can happily go for walks and move my body without a struggle. I have achieved so much in this past year I'm so proud of myself and how far I have come. I have moved to Australia and have had the most beautiful guidance on this journey. I've achieved a 30km trek. Made a bunch of new friends and reconnected with a lot of old friends. I'm happy and healthy and that's the main thing. On the 3rd of November 2022 I was 145.5kgs On the 1st of November 2023 I am now 77.1kgs just 4.35kgs. off loosing half my body weight. Total lose of 68.4kgs. Yes I there is down falls too it all. I can't enjoy food like I used to, I have loose skin and excess skin, I have lost my boobs along the way but I'm just so grateful that my body is able to do what it has always wanted to. I'm so so happy I did what I did to better my life and the future I'm building for myself. Bring on 2024 and the goals I have for myself.
