Silverline Hospital conducted a CME camp about Diabetes and Endocrinology at Girinagar Community Hall

Silverline Hospital a boutique hospital for Endocrinology & Diabetes conducted a CME camp for the general public about the awareness of Diabetes and Endocrinology ailments at Girinagar Community Hall on Sunday July 9th 2023.

There was around 45 patients who registered for the programme. The programme was inaugurated and  coordinated by our Cheerful and Charismatic Councillor Ms.Malini Kurup. The Camp was well designed and strategized by the Leader of the Hospital, Dr.Tom Babu Medical Director and Senior Endocrinologist Diabetologist. Dr.Geena Susan George Consultant Endocrinology & Diabetes conveyed the awareness and the etiology of Diabetes and Endocrine diseases in malayalam so that the crowd could understand well. Dr.Anil Balachandran, Consultant Cardiologist gave a wonderful speech again in the conversational malayalam about the underlying complication and  the myths and facts of Cardiology diseases associated with Diabetes.Ms.Neetha Pradeep, our HOD of Dietetics made a presentation and display of the food and diet which a Diabetics patient should follow strictly and is an essential part of the treatment. The 45 patients were tested  with TOTAL FREE B.P(Blood Pressure), HBa1c (3 months average sugar test) ,RBS (Random Sugar), Foot Scan  (Usually Done for Diabetics). Apart from this the entire patients were given a free consultation by Dr.Tom Babu and Dr.Geena Susan George after the results of the tests were taken. Ms.Neetha pradeep also gave a free consultation regarding the food habits and restriction of food intake for a diabetics patient. Needless to say, the Silverline staff, which is an integral part of the Silverline family, participated in full strength and did their respective work in a true professional and meticulous manner. Silverline Hospital thanks the entire Kadavanthra community for attending and special mention again to Ms.Malini Kurup our Leader and Counselor who gave us the right path to make the CME a grand success.
